Beans and Rice

This is more of a suggestion rather than a recipe. Denise has been MacDougaling and I'm trying some meals as well. This can be actually pretty tasty.


If you plan on using dry beans, soak overnight.

Start rice cooking. Add as many or as few ingredients as suits your fancy. Most ingredients need to be put in as soon as the rice starts. Remember brown rice takes longer to cook and white rice, and I've found that it also takes more spice to flavor it. So don't be afraid to dump it in.

Serve and eat.
