I'm not real sure where Mom got this idea at, but it's about the only soup I really like. You'll have to expierment with the amounts, when I made this I got two large pots full. The TVP is there because Mom always put beef in the soup.
Yellow split peas
Green split peas
Minestrone soup mix
1 cup de-hydrated TVP Chunks (optional)
Pasta (macarroni, spagetti...etc)
1-2 Vegan beef boulion cubes
Re-hydrate the TVP. Throw everything else in a pot with water and cook. When peas are as soft as you like, add the TVP and eat. Simple. Be careful how much pasta and peas you initally put in, this stuff will expand!
