TOO MUCH WILDLIFE!!!! I was away from home when today's incident happened (thank god!).
Fred has had a close encounter of the snakey kind! Apparently from what Denise has told me, the dogs got another snake tonight. Only this time it was about three feet long. They wouldn't leave it and it was striking at them. Apparently it was an "Oak Snake" according to Denise's freind Allison (I hope I spelled that right, if not it'll get fixed). I can't find anything on Oak Snakes so I think it may be a nickname. Either way...THREE FEET LONG!!!
Anyway, Fred got bit on the head. We were really worried untill we were assured that it was a non-posionous snake. I'm glad I wasn't home but on the other hand I feel bad that Denise had to deal with this all by herself.
Just what we need....I'm terrified of snakes and this isn't going to help. I just hope that Fred will be okay.
