Doggie Update 6/10/01!

This update is one that I'd never think I'd write. I'll just start off by saying it. C.C. is gone. Not, shuffled off this mortal coil and joined the choir invisible gone, her owner has come and taken her back.

C.C. was always Denise's ex-roommate Amy's dog. However she moved out and joined the Navy so really couldn't take C.C. with her, naturally. So, Denise agreed to keep her and to be honest we never thought that Amy would ever come and get her. Then we got a phone call a couple months ago from Amy saying how she was not only coming to visit, not only was she going to get all her stuff (long story) but she was going to take C.C. back with her too.

And there was much rejoicing.

You see, for a long time now, C.C. has been a little bit of a problem.  She has fought with Taz several times, the most recent was just a few weeks ago.  It got to the point where if we wanted to play with the dogs that we would have to put C.C. inside, otherwise there would be a fight.

Having a dog wasn't much fun at the point.  But Amy and her new hubby came and packed her stuff up and packed C.C. up for a god only knows how many mile trek.  You see, we live here in sunny Florida and they live in rainy Washington, state.  Fortunately C.C. was always a good car dog who enjoied riding in the car. She did have a little problem to adjusting to taking care of business on a leash since all the dogs have been pretty much free-range poopers, but the last we head, they all made it happy and healthy.

I hope C.C. adjusts well to being an only dog in a strange place.

So, we're now down to two dogs who are both doing very well.
