Excellent news!!! Fred has now been treated for heartworms!!!!! The vet has a Credit Care program which allows us to charge his treatment!
He went in Tuesday, 4/4/00, for his treatment and was expected to stay for 3 days. He didn't want to stay without us and actually slipped his collar and was at the door when we were leaving. But they got him into the back and he got his treatments.
We got to pick him up today, cos the vet felt that he would be happier at home. We think that the vet would be happier with him at home. Apparently he wasn't too bad with the female techs but growled at the male techs...go figure.
Now Fred is sore but happy at home. We have to keep him from getting too excited for the next few weeks then he'll be all better!
